Diana
by
Russell Smith
ever
shall Diana
fleet as wind roam through woods
dogs afoot strain to pace
nimble steps pine needles
heavy though morning dew
do not bend where she steps
dances she
smile gazelles
where she dives streams exhale
not a splash only part
loving hands sister home
this is home where ever Diana wills to roam
rain moon
clouds beckon she
pauses breath snapping twig
snuffle dogs tainted breeze
sweaty man he pauses
rare silence vision snow
Diana draws her bow
